This is a great post by Paardje about hand and wrist health for us crochet and knit maddened craftspeople. I just tried the wrist yoga and it feels GREAT, especially the stretch.
Gotta keep these wrists supple, amiright?

Thanks for sharing this – I always try to work some stretching in around crafting. I do wonder if there’s much you can do to maintain eye health as well. From the literature I’ve read it seems to imply fine work isn’t actually damaging for your eyes, so long as you avoid the usual culprits for eye strain (too much focusing at one distance, not taking breaks, poor light etc.)

I don’t know about that. I have noticed my sight getting worse and my prescription getting more powerful since I started doing so much close work. Of course I just turned 50 too, so who knows? I’d be interested too.
